CDGI :- Centre for Development of Glass Industry was established at Firozabad in India in the year 1992 as a joint venture project of Government of India, Government of Uttar Pradesh and United Nations Development Program (UNDP) / United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO). The Centre is functioning under the aegis of Development Commissioner (MSME), Ministry of MSME - Government of India. Its plans and policies are guided by Government of India and United Nations Development Program.

Design & developments :- First of all we give priority to the customer provided designs as per market requirement. Your shape is your product. Our big buyers provide us their sketches and we then start producing the required items in required shape, size, materials & color-finish. We can produce customary design collections to meet your specific needs.Thereafter we send samples to the concerned buyers after necessary testing. Our buyers place suffecient orders at genuine prices after full satisfaction.
During off season time we start own developments of new designs and in this work Govt. owned NCDPD extend us their full support. NCDPD - National centre for design & Product Devlopment - Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India is Ex-Officio Chairman of NCDPD Board. Member based organization mainly representing handicraft sector.Set up with an objective to fulfill the gap in the hard goods sector in the areas of Design / Product Development & Technology.

Manufacturing : - First of all we get produced different types of moulds by our skilled craftsmen as per available sketches and thereafter blowing/casting work is done. Annealing is also done by different methods.  Products are cleaned up through different processes of cutting, grinding & polishing. Color/Finishing work is done by different processes and thereafter packing work started in proper way after quality inspection.

Quality control & inspection : - if our buyers get done inspection by their nominated agency then we also get done 100% inspection of ordered goods by their inspector. We, thereafter start packing process of perfect quality goods in required boxes.
We follow stringent quality control systems thus ensuring the quality of the products produced by us and ordered by our buyers. We are aimed at giving the best quality products to our buyers. Each and every piece offered by us reflects our focus on aspect of quality and perfection. We make sure that all the products are of high quality that gives maximum output and true value of the buyers’ money. The different kinds of products are tested on different parameters so as to determine their quality. Only when our products surpass the various checks, they are subject to be sent to the market.

Testings : - Generally we produce goods after saving all the hazardous and banned elements. However from the safety point of view we get done tastings time to time of different ordered items by universal testing agency as per the advice of buyers and make available them testing reports.
